GREETER MINISTRY

Our Greeter Ministry is a wonderful place to serve if you have a pleasant, outgoing personality. The greeters strive to provide a "warm, friendly, positive greeting" to everyone who enters our church doors. Greeters also assist visitors in finding classrooms prior to the Sunday School hour. Sunday morning offers three different opportunities to greet: before the 8:45 a.m. service, before the 11:00 a.m. service, before the 9:45 a.m. Sunday School hour. In the afternoon, greeters serve before the 423 contemporary service. Each Greeter Team serves one Sunday per month. We also have a Bus Greeter Ministry. Bus greeters ride the bus on Sunday mornings to assist riders from several retirement facilities.

USHER MINISTRY

Our Usher Ministry is a great place for men to serve who have gifts of service and hospitality. Our ushers provide a much needed ministry before and during our worship services. Also serving as greeters, the Ushers distribute the worship bulletins as people enter the Sanctuary. On crowded days, the ushers help worshipers find seats. They also serve as offering bearers during the worship service. Ushers are on call during the worship services to field any unusual circumstances that may arise. Ushers generally serve one or more full month terms.
