Julie Palekas serves as the Adult Discipleship Coordinator and the Preschool Volunteer Coordinator. She also served in Student Ministry for 14 years prior to her current positions. She has a bachelor’s degree in psychology from McDaniel College in Westminster, Maryland and will complete a Masters in Chaplaincy from Fuller Theological Seminary in August of 2025. She is a certified coach with PACT Ministry and volunteers as a chaplain with Transitions Homeless Center. She is married to Ed, a retired career Army officer, is the mom to three adult children, and ‘Juice’ to a 2-year-old grandson. In her free time, Julie loves to read, take long walks, garden, shop and explore/travel to new places.
