Once again, we are asking you adopt a family, buying gifts for all the children of that family, instead of selecting multiple individual children.
There are a handful reasons for this, but the most important is that it helps to insure that all the children in a family receive gifts of like value. We have families of all sizes from one child to eight. This allows for church members of various levels of financial means to participate. Also, you could join a friend to shop for a family or a Discipleship Hour Class, Life Group, etc., could collect money and select a group shopper or two.
You can also sign up by stopping by the table in the atrium on Sundays through December 7th.
Gift Timeline and General Information
Please return gifts no later than Tuesday, December 9th to NEPC either:
- Sunday mornings in the Atrium or
- During office hours at the Administration entrance at the back of the church.
- Recommended gift value is $50 per child.
- Label each wrapped gift with the name and number assigned to each child (ex: John - Child 1-1).
- If you have multiple gifts for an individual child, please either have the wrapped presents in a single gift bag or tether the presents together, if possible. We are trying our best to make sure presents don't get separated. TJ Maxx and HomeGoods have large, reusable bags near the check out for $0.99.
- Try and have the same number of gifts for each child in a family to open Christmas morning.
We'd love for you to also join us Saturday, December 13th to distribute the gifts to the families!
