Minors: Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
Airfare: Your airfare and purchasing your ticket is your responsibility. Secure your ticket as soon as you can because usually the cost goes up the closer we get to the trip. The recommended airline is Delta. We want you to arrive in Managua on Saturday February 3 on Delta flight #369 out of Atlanta, and depart Managua on Saturday, February 10 on Delta flight #370. You may decide to take a different airline to Managua but be sure to tell us your plans so we can be at the airport to pick you up. We must have at least 15 of our team to fly on Delta #369 to help take duffel bags with supplies, all arriving at the same time in order to get through Nicaraguan customs.
The Mission’s Mission Statement: This is first and foremost an evangelical mission. We are going to a third-world country that does not have the advantages we have in the U.S.A. We are working with local pastors to attract people who are disadvantaged to come and experience Christian love in action and to hear the good news of the gospel. Our hope is to encourage the believers and help the local church bring more souls into the Kingdom, to help grow the local church and to demonstrate through our efforts the love of Christ. We want to spread the word to all who will come, “Jesus te ama” (Jesus loves you). Our second goal is to bring American Christians to a 3rd world environment, outside of their comfort zone, away from the distractions of everyday life, compelled to be dependent on God, and to bond with other Christians as they serve the Nicaraguan people. We hope that our team will return strengthened spiritually, and perhaps become more deliberate in their walk with God and their service to His church here and abroad.
