THIS IS THE WEEK, Summer Reading Club members! Turn in your BOOK TALLY SHEETS to the Lamppost desk by THIS SUNDAY, AUGUST 13^th.

Never participated in our club before? Here’s the 411:  Stop by the Lamppost desk anytime by the 13^th and pick up a sheet (they are divided by age group, so find the one that lines up with your age). Just write down the titles and number of pages in the books you’ve read this summer and put in the box on the desk and voila! you’re good to go!

The only thing left to do is show up for our ICE CREAM CELEBRATION on AUGUST 27^th, where we’ll (Word of the Week) GORGE on ice cream and all the toppings, give out goodies (including the world’s guaranteed most spectacular t-shirt) and draw for our GRAND PRIZES!!!!!   A REMINDER THAT ALL REGISTERED CLUB MEMBERS AND THEIR FAMILIES ARE INVITED, so whether you’ve read 1 book, 10 books, 100 books or none at all, if you registered to participate, this party is for you!  Woo hoo!  Eatin’ ice cream and takin’ names… that’s what we’ll be doing!
