And all us book lovers say, AMEN! Happiest of Birthdays to the inimitable Dr. Seuss, whose 113th birthday is coming up tomorrow, March 2nd. We are happy you were born; your literary works live on!

Your Lamppost celebrates the good doctor of twisty and turn-y text, drivel and (Word of the Week) DOGGEREL verse by featuring his books in our Children’s Wardrobe all this month; along with some new arrivals and old favorites by different authors, you’ll find sprinkled among our shelves some of Dr. S’s more popular titles, so enjoy!

For our adults, we “spring forward” with lots of classic favorites and some new fiction and nonfiction as well. Check the FEATURED BOOKS shelves in front of the Grand Hall to check out our selections.

Included in this list are two of my faves: The Case for Christ: A Journalist’s Personal Investigation of the Evidence for Jesus and The Case for Faith: A Journalist Investigates the Toughest Objections to Christianity, both by atheist-turned-believer Lee Strobel. (By the way, a heads up that The Case for Christ comes to the big screen THIS MONTH… a great time to check out the book and then see the movie!)

Speaking of movies, a hearty HALLELUJAH for another successful CHURCH FAMILY MOVIE NIGHT last Friday night! A good time was had by all ages!
