November is crisp days and cool nights,
a time to curl up around the dancing flames
and sink into a good book.

Enjoying this spectacular weather?? Only one way to make it better… with a book from your Lamppost!
We are working tirelessly as we gear up for one of our most popular events… our ANNUAL MEMBERS’ BOOK SALE which takes place on SUNDAY, DECEMBER 3… 9:30 TO 12:30 in the Garden Atrium. More details forthcoming in future midweek and bulletin updates.
We have some new adults’ and childrens’ fiction and nonfiction going on the shelves and many are proudly displayed front and center on our FEATURED BOOKCASE in front of the Grand Hall. With the 500th anniversary of the Reformation just past, we continue to celebrate as we present for our adults a super biography on Martin Luther by the fabulous writer Eric Metaxas. Another biography worth perusing is When God Doesn’t Fix It: Lessons You Never Wanted to Learn, Truths You Can’t Live Without by singer Laura Story.
For the kids, a couple of new treasures too: My Own Psalm 91 Book and 5 Minute Bible Stories… a veritable literary-(Word of the Week) TROVE.
We light up your world with reading to light your way to HIM… the HEAD of the Church… JESUS! Come “check us out” this week!
