I have so much to do that
I’m just going to read.

Ever feel that way… other than all the time, that is? ? That’s why you need your Lamppost now more than ever!

This seems to be the time of year that goes faster than any other, and as we make the countdown to the holidays and the end of the year (closer than you think!), make yourself a promise to browse our shelves next time you’re at church, pick a title or two that intrigues, and let our wonderful library be a place of (Word of the Week) REPOSE and relaxation amidst these hectic days.

This wonderful weather calls for more outside time… a comfy chair, a fire pit perhaps, and a good read definitely! So, when you DO have some free time, enjoy all three!

We have new fiction in, including Jan Karon’s LATEST MITFORD BOOK, To Be Where You Are, so Mitford fans, rejoice! (I will, however, ask that whoever checks it out be very DILIGENT about returning it on time as I am sure we will have a waiting list.) For the kids, we have all of Priscilla Shirer’s books in The Prince Warrior series and a few new picture books, too. In nonfiction, be on the lookout as we will have a few DVDs coming in by one of my Reformed favorites, R.C. Sproul!

We are YOUR Lamppost, but we are devoted to HIM and the things that would please HIM! Come “check us out” this week when you are at church.
